Description

Maomao has joined Jinshi on a hunting expedition where Jinshi is carefully hiding his true identity. Their journey takes a dangerous turn when they’re suddenly attacked by assailants wielding flintlock guns, forcing them into hiding within a secluded cave. Here, Maomao uncovers yet another of Jinshi’s many secrets. Teaming up with Lihaku, Maomao must unravel the identities of their attackers. Although she soon figures out their motive, she begins to sense there’s more to this incident than she first thought. Once this troubling case seems resolved, Maomao finds herself summoned once again to unravel another intriguing mystery within the imperial inner court.
