Ever since Lizzie Miller attended a wedding in New Orleans at the age of fifteen, she’s dreamed of opening her own French bakery in her Amish community. Determined to see that dream become reality, and with blessings from her parents and bishop, she moved ahead to complete a two-year internship at a New Orleans bakery. Afterwards, Lizzie returned to her hometown, worked diligently in the Amish bakery, and eventually took over the business when the chance arose.

But now Lizzie is facing unexpected trouble. Someone seems determined to force her out of business, as strange and disturbing events begin happening around her bakery. Lizzie won’t be frightened away easily, though. With support from her faithful friends, she’s willing to dig deep, uncover the identity of the culprit, and discover why they’re so set on her failure.

Amidst the challenges, Lizzie might also find something else: the surprising realization that dreams can sometimes come true in ways she never anticipated—and that someone special has been by her side all along, patiently waiting for her attention. Perhaps the only ingredients missing from her dreams are a touch of faith and plenty of love.
