I’m Erin LaFaive, an herbalist and Plant Priestess. My love for plants began in childhood and has remained a constant presence in my life. Growing up in Wisconsin, I felt deeply connected to the plant world, sensing their quiet support in times of need. My passion led me to work in three different greenhouses, gaining hands-on experience with herbs, vegetables, shrubs, and trees. Over the past decade, I’ve taught people of all ages about herbalism, horticulture, and environmental topics.

Like many others, my herbal journey started with self-study during my teenage years. At times, I felt overwhelmed by the vast amount of information and uncertain about what to focus on next. I later pursued a bachelor’s degree in Geography with an emphasis on Natural Resource Management, followed by a master’s degree in Environmental Studies. To formalize my herbal studies, I earned a Master Herbalism certificate through training with a local herbalist and naturopath.

May this workbook be a helpful guide on your path to learning herbalism. Wishing you many herbal blessings!
